- Use Wedding Rice that
is safe for birds and other small animals.
- Make sure one of your
bridesmaids or the caterer saves two plates of food
for you and your groom. With all the
excitement and activities, you two may not be able
to sit down and enjoy some of the delicious
food. This way, you two can have something to
eat a little later...perhaps in the limo after you
leave your reception.
- Use the bridesmaids'
bouquets to create a decoration to surround the
cake.
- Have the
"throw-away" bouquet double as a cake top.
- Toss rose petals
instead of rice as the bride and groom leave.
- Decorate goblets and
cake knives with flowers.
- Have your florist
create guest table centerpieces with 4-5 separate
clusters of flowers so that each couple can take a
part of the centerpiece home.
- Sprinkle rose petals
on the cake table and walkways.
- Make sure you have
enough seating for everyone...Nothing is more
frustrating then trying to handle a plate of food, a
drink and conversation all at the same time and
nowhere to sit.
- Here are a few ideas
to give as wedding favors to your guests:
| A
Single Rose |
| Mini
Champagne Bottles |
| Photo
of the Bride and Groom |
| Votive
Holders |
| Wine
glasses with the bride and grooms names on
them with the date |
| A
Picture Frame |
| A
Bell for the guest to ring when they want
the bride and groom to kiss |
| A
Candle with a poem attached to it |
