Q.  How long does it take to get pictures back from the photographer?--Camden, SC

A.  You need to ask. It sometimes take a couple months for them to deliver your proofs.  Be sure of how long it takes...look at the Service Contract that you sign.  It should be stated in there, if not ASK!  Get it in writing!

Q.  How can I make sure that my photographer is reputable?--Columbia, SC

A.  Always ask for references from other weddings.  Get a list of references from the photographer and check them out.  A photographer who has no references or is afraid to give them to you is not someone that you need to be doing business with.  You can also check with the BBB and the local Chamber of Commerce.  Call around to some reception facilities or churches.  They will be glad to tell you if they have heard positive or negative things.  Find out if they are a member of any photographic organizations and what is required to join.  Don't be afraid to ask.  Any objections to any questions of this kind is an indication of trouble ahead!!!!!!

Q.  Will my photographer be the one I will meet with first?--Beaufort, SC

A.  Not necessarily.  Sometimes a company will send whom ever is available to shoot your wedding.  Don't be shocked--this happens more often than you can imagine.  Be certain that you know which photographer is going to be there.  Make sure you look at some of their work. Make sure you put that in the Service Contract.

Q.  My budget is running thin, do you have any suggestions on how I can save money on our photography?--Bennettsville, SC

A.  First thing I suggest is to hire a PROFESSIONAL photographer.  One option that I can think of is just have them do the Ceremony ONLY package.  Get all the formal photos taken with you, your groom, bridal party, and family and all of the key photos during the ceremony.  Then have friends and guest take photos during the reception.  You can have a couple disposable cameras at each table with a note to take pictures.  You will get a lot of good pictures.
