Q. Don't
we have to pay the Minister a fee for his
services?--Whitmire, SC
A. They
really don't call it a "fee". It
is more of a "donation". Most
want $50 to $100. This donation sometimes
includes the counseling sessions...if you are
unsure, call the church secretary and ask them.
Q.
My
bride and I are meeting with our Minister at the
church. What topics should we bring up?
--Anderson, SC
A. You
first need to confirm your ceremony date.
Also ask if there is another wedding planned for
the same day. Ask about premarital class
requirements that you will have to
completed. Discuss if you will be having a
soloist. Find out any restrictions about
photographs or video cameras. If you can
have bubbles, petals, or seed. Ask if the
church provides candelabras or extra
candles. That is enough to get you
started. The more you discuss with him,
the more you will think of more questions..
