Q. Our
budget is dwindling fast....what can I do to
save on flowers? --Charleston, SC
|
| A. Instead
of fresh flowers, buy silk. They are less
expensive and you can keep them after the
wedding is over. You can even give some
arrangements away at your reception to special
family members or friends. You can also
keep your Bridal Bouquet and it will always be
beautiful so you can display it in your
home. However, if you insist on fresh
flowers |

Q. I
am so nervous about my florist not creating the
bouquet like I want...what do I do? --Iva, SC
|
| A. You
should look through books and magazines...find a
bouquet or at least the look or style that you
like. Take it to your florist and show
them. Many times....pictures help more
than just explaining. |

Q. How
do I know I am picking a good florist?
--Hemingway, SC
|
| A. You
need to see their work. Ask to see
pictures and get a few references. Call
some churches..ask them if they know of a good
florist. Also, once you choose the
florist...find out WHO is doing your
flowers. Say it is Joyce that you like her
style...in your Service Contract, make sure you
put in that you want Joyce doing your
flowers. Not everyone arranges flowers the
same. |
