Q. I
want to put some color in my hair before the
wedding...when do you think I should do it?--Taylors,
SC
|
| A. I
would do it about 2 weeks before...in case there
is a problem..you have time to fix it. |

Q. Do
I need to have my hairdresser experiment with my
hair before my wedding?--Conway, SC
|
| A. YES.
You want to make sure she/he can do the style
that you want. Remember to bring your
veil. Maybe 5 months before the wedding,
have a consultation with them. You may
want to get them to do your hair for your bridal
portrait also. Tell them the style of your
wedding so they can create the look you want. |

Q. What
do I look for when I am shopping for a make up
artist for me and my attendants?--Charleston, SC
|
| A. Experience,
Experience, Experience! The need to be
familiar with color and how that translates with
a camera. Look at their training, current
licenses, and do you feel comfortable with
them. Look at some bridal pictures that
they have done the makeup for. |

Q. Do
you know of any makeup trends that I need to
avoid?--Blackville, SC
|
| A. I
am no expert in this field, but I think you
should not wear bright lipstick...like dark red
and bright pink. I wouldn't wear frosted
cosmetics either. Do remember to use a
concealor and base foundation. Consult a
professional make up artist! |

Q. Are
make up artists expensive?--Summerville, SC
|
| A. No,
not for what they are doing--creating a more
beautiful YOU! Pricing varies from one end
of the state to the other. It is typically
around $125 to $300 for doing you and maybe 4
attendants. Shop around. Try to make
this fit into your budget..you will look
wonderful. |

need to lose 15 lbs. before my wedding is 6
weeks...how much exercising do I need to
do?--Columbia, SC
|
| A. Well,
again--this is for a true professional in that
field, but I always hear that you should
exercise at least 3 to 4 times a week for about
20 minutes. Call your
physician. |
